And to think, Linux has a standard command line recorder. I wouldn't
mind seeing that for DOS.
Something like that sb02 below I suppose.
Here's some SimTel stuff that may or may not do what you want.
ftp://put/simtel.net/pub/simtelnet/msdos/sound/
sample20.zip 230832 890519 Digital sound playback/record (with TP5.0 src)
sb02.zip 12186 940906 SB sound playing/recording under djgpp, C code
spchtool.zip 754384 960521 Speech recognition tools, DTW, DHMM, CHMM etc
vm110.zip 135540 950112 Text-to-speech player and phoneme recorder
vat061.zip 288506 960407 Varmint's Audio Tools (VAT) for Sound Blaster
wm10_1.zip 384883 950830 WAVmaker 1.0 digital audio/music system, 1/5
wm10_2.zip 509148 950830 WAVmaker 1.0 digital audio/music system, 2/5
wm10_3.zip 472619 950830 WAVmaker 1.0 digital audio/music system, 3/5
wm10_4.zip 442345 950830 WAVmaker 1.0 digital audio/music system, 4/5
wm10_5.zip 735101 950830 WAVmaker 1.0 digital audio/music system, 5/5
Some may apply, some may not. I haven't tried any but since I just got
another machine working with a sound card I may try a few.
I just hope the Creative DOS recorder mentioned in the other post isn't
a Win95 console app.
