I don't know who else to contact, since I've heard that the tech support at symantec isn't too good. as some of you may know I am a blind computer user and I use jfw for windows95. I recently decided to try norton utilities try before you buy version. I installed the product, but couldn't get it to work properly with jaws. I uninstalled the program and then restored the registry settings from a backup I made just before the instalation, besides! who needs a big fat lumpy registry file taking up space with settings for a program that isn't on your computer any more? Then I was emailing to a fellow blind user and we got to the subject of speech access and jaws for windows and norton utilities. He told me what to change in jaws and said that the changes will make norton's work better with jaws. So what's the problem? Well, when I go to install it, the instalation works fine, but when I try to run any of the norton utilities like disk doctor, win doctor or speed disk, I get a message that says my system's security has been compromised. Please if anyone is able to help me get norton utilities try before you buy version working again it would be great. I wasted over several hours downloading the trial program and now it won't work.
