Silicon Graphics, now officially SGI, has a version of Unix called "Irix".
I am not really sure why they need Linux, but then again, I don't know very
much about SGI stuff. It is only recently that I found out a little more
about them in the computer world. I had always heard of Silicon Graphics,
but mainly in a brief financial report, or something along those lines.

I wouldn't mind getting ahold of an older SGI machine. They are on Ebay all
the time, but usually go for many $$$$$.
