Hi Karen; I'm using an external U.S. Robotics Sportster 33.6 Modem, and this is the string that I use; AT&F1S7=60S19=0L0M1&M4&K1&H1&R2&I0B0X4 Actually, this is the string that Microsoft Dial-Up Networking uses in Windows 95. I just copied it from the MSDUN Log File. I also use this when accessing the Internet from DOS in NewDeal, and also from Windows 3.11. Even though this works great in Win95, I do notice slower access when using Windows 3.11. The problem is not with the string, but with my software, as I'm using an older version of WINSOCK than I should be. My ISP, Sympatico, is shipping me the latest and greatest, which should be here in a few more days. Let me know how it goes.
