Stephen, Oh Darn!

Let's start simple:  in your chipset features setup or
bios features setup you will find external and internal
caching.  If I'm working with a stinker like this, I start
by turning off both internal and external caches.  If that
stabilizes the system, then I turn on each of them in
turn to see which one gives me the trouble.

Also, please advise your OS for this box.
