Yes, thats the programming part. But as I said, my idea was only
to see how do you people define a GUI that will bring the computer
to the user instead of hiding it.. I was not talking about any
of the other topics that certainly, have to be concerned when building
a real GUI software, such as support for the blind.

By the way, if anyone noticed - in my suggestion for the programming
part of the "DOS Internet Suite" I suggested about a semiliar idea:
Since the software will be modulable, including the video drivers,
it will be possible to put a certain module that will include an
enhanced blind support. Just think about it - since it will be the
Suite software that will take care of the actuall display and
view managment, that blind-support module will have full access
to what the software will want to represent. This should enable
text-to-speech support even in places where normally it is not possible,
since while the actuall video output will be as pixels, the first
input to the driver will be in text, which will be readable to the
text-reader, and only later be converted to "pixels" that are
unreadable.

Example:
Instead of the application putting a picture of a title bar on the
screen, a command like: 'F4'3'96'"A title" will be sent to the display
module. The display will then render the command into a title bar
with the title "A title" using the data given in the command. However,
before the command reach the driver, it will be transfered via the
text-reader which will have a chance to read the "A title" part before
its no longer a readable text.
