WORD VIRUS ALERT
A Word Macro Virus outbreak is spreading through
bank and financial institutions in eight different
countries. According to Network Associates, the
Word 97 macro virus infects the normal.dot file, and
will attempt to delete all files on a user's "C" drive
on December 13, 1999. The concern: With IT
departments focusing on Y2K, users could be
infected an not even know it until December
13�after they lose their data.
