Sorry to cross post this to two lists, but I don't know who is on what..
so if you get this twice, my apologies.
After reading many things on the security issues with Microsoft Software,
and having a Hard Drive crash thanks to windows that may have just cost me a
month's work, and loss of a $500 contract for an e-commerce site for a local
store, I have decided that windows must go. However, I still want to have
Multitasking, and I've read many good things about DESQview... only problem
is - Symantec now owns quarterdeck, and they don't sell it. So what can be
done? I hate it when software is abandoned, and is not placed into the
public domain, because I'm at a loss - does anyone know where DESQview can
be gotten? I've checked classifieds and computer stores locally, and nada.
