An intresting idea, but it has a certain problem.
I sepose that if RA will remain the standard for compressed real-time
audio transmition via the internet, hardware decompressors will
be made.. but as you said, it will not be availble for the PC.
The big problems are:
1)Price. This thing is probebly going to cost quite alot. Not sure why,
just a feeling.
2)Even if it will be made for the embadded market then i'm still not
so sure that it will be made as a PC card. They might use another
standard, that wouldnt be useable on standard PCs.
