If companies want publicity and exposure for their products - they have to
get it out into the schools and have innovative people talking about it.
But I had companies tell me that they wanted us to pay .>$50 per seat for a
utilitiy! for our 20 student school. We were/still are looking for a good
web site downloader (other than IE5).
FYI - as a new-age senstive man, my computer has been 100% 'dirty picture'
free!! I have not even gotten hooked into a fly-by set up!!!
Besides, I am scared spitless of all/any of the extras that could come along
from visiting these sites. I have enough trouble sleeping - with my bad
conscience, compounded by the excitement of northern farming/ranching.
I rely on intellectual and computing ideas to stimulate my mind. Why else
would I be writing this at 5 am? (do NOT answer)
Thanks for the info: I will repeat my question in more detail: We need a
utility that can download web sites for offline viewing. It does not have
to have kitcken sinks in it too. In fact - as it will be used by newbies -
the simplier the better.
