Isn't the operating system market a risky market for Trumpet to make a
comeback? I give them a lot of credit because god knows we need a few more
choices other than Microsoft. It's a dog eat dog market. It may be just
find for end users, but what about the thing that takes up most of the
market, business? It has to be pretty special to get business users to
switch over from their trusty Microsoft. Look at how long Linux has had to
fight for that, and Linux is mainly used for web servers. I tested it for a
month and I wasn't convinced that I should switch my business clients over.
I may use Linux servers, but the client side of Linux doesn't hold a candle
to Microsoft I am sorry to say.

"At this stage PetrOS is still in the alpha stage of development. The GUI
hasn't been developed
yet and so it hard to say what it is going to be like. At this stage
PetrOS doesn't support 16bit
applications and supports generic hardware configurations. As the
development progresses the
list of supported hardware will increase depending on demand."

Doesn't sound so great yet....
