The WWW/URL "grabber" procedure is now integrated into ReRead: it grabs one or two lines from any file, allows to edit the sequence (if necessary) and to use the result to launch for instance HTGET to get it, when on-line with a packet driver. This is not a browser nor a site-grabber - but with a nifty recursive batch file it can get pretty near to that (and using <300 K memory at any instant) - maybe the old-fashioned sequential principle shows to be not that much slower than (overloaded) multitasking ? <g> There has been a thourough weeding of bugs that have crept in (with those new functionalities in v3.3+) and of staunch old ones, so the indexing service with files series (from Netmail /Pro for instance) does work as advertised now, again. <bg> The package with "verbose" docs is at ==> http://www.inti.be/hammer/reread33.zip and the faster/smaller compacted exe (does not run with some Win/video equipment - but well with good old Herc's!) at ==> http://www.inti.be/hammer/rread33x.zip And in it'll be in the SimTel offline reader dept. in a day or two. // Heimo Claasen // <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> // Brussels 1999-10-06 HomePage of ReRead - and much to read ==> http://www.inti.be/hammer To unsubscribe from SURVPC send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with unsubscribe SURVPC in the body of the message.
