Hi Emil,

Luckily for you I have a couple of HP Vectras sitting right in front of me.
Let me turn one off, unplug it, flip those handles up, and see what happens.
Hmm, nothing blew up--so far so good. Now I'm grabbing the front of the case
(where the door to the floppy drive is) and pulling it toward me... Wow,
check it out: The entire case is sliding toward me, leaving the guts of the
machine exposed for anyone to molest at will. I better close it up now
before my boss sees me without a ground strap!

Everyone was a newbie once,

Subject: [SURVPC] How to open the lid?

...
This new 'puter one has two "flip-handles" on the sides,
near the front; are they somehow involved in opening
the case, or what are they meant for otherwise?

...
The exact name of the 'puter is HP Vectra VL 51/133.
TIA!
