Well.. Guess what? I've just read in an article about the current
plans Nintendo is having for the Gameboy.. they are planning to
transform it to a 'fully portable multimedia entertaiment device'.
(thats a quote. I dont use terms like that.. normally.)
Among the features - internet connectivity! ah ha! I knew it was
possible. ^_^

ok ok. So I was talking about hacking a modem + software for the
'classic' Gameboy, while they are talking about a brand new model,
which will obviously use the new advantages (bigger screen, maybe
color-capable.). But anyway.. just for the fun of it:

"I told you so!".

Anyway.
I guess that affordable-or-just-generally-cheap computer
communication devices are finally taking speed in the market. Whats
more, it seems like the embadded market is growing. Good sign, isnt it?

BTW, i'm still not giving up on the original idea for using the
'classic' gameboy device! ;)
(also, I cant give you a URL to that article, since I read it on
an "old fashioned" printed newspaper.. which was in hebrew, anyway.
something tells me that you wouldnt manage to read it..)
