The individual with the mvp modem -- go to Dejanews, power search with
the following parameters:

keywords: mvp_______[fill in your info] Cardinal

  "complete" for search area
  "Dejanews classic" for presentation
  "any" for keywords
  "comp.*" for forum

Set dates around 1997/1998 and do it a month at a time, pulling down
100 references at a time. Then do a search on each page for the modem
model # and then just Cardinal. You should be able to find more on
yours than I found on the 14.4

The individual with the 14.4 -- Do you know if yours is an MD0027
FAX/modem card, or the MVP144IF Data/FAX card?

To both of you == I have to discontinue my efforts for you at this time.
I had my son practicing driving the BMW last night, and doing some tests
on whether the brakes appeared to be adjusted correctly. A quick stop
at between 5-10 mph resulted in the engine flying off the mounting
blocks into the radiator! The front body of the car may also be
damaged, but we were so upset we didn't check that carefully.

Needless to say, I have a MAJOR battle ahead of me fighting the BMW
dealership that installed that engine. :< Any spare power to stay
angry but think clearly which anyone cares to send my way *would* be
appreciated.

one very unhappy
