Hi, guys, I have recently visited a site, www.treepad.com and obtained a small-but-useful program called (surprisingly) treepad. I also subscribed to the FreeByte list there, and they recently notified me of another freeware goodie, hjZip. This fellow is writing windows programs, but he's definitely on our side. He writes small, fast, low-overhead software. And, mostly, he gives it away. I can recommend his stuff highly. I quite understand that not everyone in this list runs 32-bit windows, but some of us do, on legacy hardware, and when we DO use utilities, we try to use the smallest, most efficient code. May I therefore direct your attention to the following (edited) message ... ------- Forwarded Message Follows ------- Freebyte_Software - http://www.freebyte.com Hi! HJ-Zip has been upgraded from version 0.4 beta to version 1.0 Freeware. Introduction: HJ-Zip is a ZIP program for Windows 95/98/NT. It is similar to programs like Winzip. One difference however is that HJ-Zip is free for commercial and personal use.
