I don't like the ms-dos fdisk, I use the opendos one, because it has a /x switch that allows you to set any type of partition to be anything you like, even novell, linux and nt/95 partitions. It's the only fdisk I keep around on boot floppies, even win95 fdisk doesn't handle things as well as this one.
