Is there a Windows 3.x free/shareware program that has a built-in modem dialer (NOT an internet connection), with a directory of National Weather Service BBS numbers, or the ability to add/change, or similar that will dial-up, retrieve and display local weather information such as temperature, high/low and future forcast, etc.? Years ago I used a Mac Plus program, MacWeather, that would use an internet connection, connect to a National Weather Service site, retrieve the information then display in both text and graphical format the temperature, projected high and low and 3-day forcast. I've seen similar programs for DOS and Win 3.x, but all require an internet connection. I've seen other DOS and Win 3.x programs that don't require an internet connection but do NOT have the dial-up or BBS directory built-in and require you to do the data retrieval on your own through a separate communications program. Is there a free/shareware Win 3.x weather program that has the dial-up and BBS number directory built-in or the ability to add/change? Do you know the download URL? *** |===| PACKARD BELL * Pack-Mate 386x *** * __|___|__ 386sx-16Mhz, 4MB, VGA-256k, DOS 6.22/Win 3.1 * * |_____==_=|~~ MY OTHER COUNTING BOARD IS AN ABACUS! * *** /#########\ [] Quote original messsage when replying *** To unsubscribe from SURVPC send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with unsubscribe SURVPC in the body of the message.
