Brown and black are connected together/disconnected by the action of one side
of the switch, blue and white are connected together/disconnected by the same
action on the other side of the switch. Switching the positions of the brown
and black or of the white and blue will have no effect, so long as they are
still connected/disconnected to each other on their respective switches.
Connecting the brown to either the blue or the white through a switch will
quite likely have the same effect as connecting the black to either the blue
or the white through a switch, that being the same as shorting the two sides
of an AC outlet together with a coat hanger. It should just trip a circuit
breaker or burn a fuse if you are using them, and not cause any damage to the
computer. If you are not using them, you may fry something.
