SMTPOP recognizes outgoing mail as a text file having an extension of ".MSG".
It recognizes incoming mail as a text file having an extension of ".CNM".
It is not a mail reader. To read mail you need to use the DOS "type" command,
or use a file viewer, or a program especially designed for use as a mail
reader. See the documentation file SMTPOP.TXT for details.
PMPOP, although designed especially for use with Pegasus mail, may be
incorporated into some other program instead. The Barebones DOS email
system by James David Chapman is a case in point.
