I tried it just now.  Set it up, it was fine looking, then immediately ran
out of system resources when I attempted to use it as the default shell.
running overtop of program manager it was able to sit there, though I
didn't try running any applications with it.  It says it only needs 4MB RAM
but I have eight on that machine?
OTOH, for w9x users, Talisman is mighty nice, lets you create your own
desktop with a fairly intuitive interface.  Think it's available at
www.talisman.com but I'm not certain of the url.  a search for talisman
will turn it up quick.  I'm running it now and my only grief is the system
tray that cannot seem to be hidden.  you can run it over top of your usual
shell, or in place of it, as you like.  Much easier to use than litestep.
