A slight qualification re the "Basic" you mention there - in fact it's
Martin's NETBAS, a *kind* of Basic interpreter, because it's not so
easy as that - it does not just swallow usual Basic but has its proper,
though Basic-*like* syntax (but with some unforgiving differences).
I can tell because I just spent eight full workdays on chasing very
unBasic bugs (in a getmail proggy with NETBAS; it does run now,
nevertheless - interested ?)
