Try <http://www.softwing.com/HardDisks/>. I found lots of good info
there a few months ago - hope this site is still up and running..
Another resource is - us - the list members here. A few of us have
saved information from various lists and newsgroups, FAQs etc, and
some of us may even own a copy of a good book - say like Scott
Mueller's Upgrading and repairing PCs. ( I personally have the
short condensed version: Upgrading and Repairing PCs - Quick
Reference, second edition. 1998 - Que Corporation. About the book,
try <http://www.mcp.com/resources/hardware/scott_mueller_faq/> for
info and/or links plus some answers to FAQs not yet covered
in his main book.Your local library may have a copy of it - or if
not - you might suggest they get it :)
All the best,
Bjorn
