To me, I think what we should do is develop a system of time where the bases are all
consistent. Think of this:
1) minutes and hours use base 60
2) days use base 24
3) weeks use base 7
4) months vary between base 28, 29, 30, and 31
5) years use base 365, and sometimes 366.
of course, this is why we need complicated algorithms to do date arithmetic, and makes
programmers pull out their hair {:^>).
