The old drive may have teeny tiny jumpers, not much bigger than 3mmx1.5mm
in size located right on the circuit board, examine carefully. Or, it
might be cable select and setting it on the master connector with the
larger drive set for slave and on the secondary connector may work. If you
have two ide channels, you may want to put them on separate ide channels.
I've heard that it is better to use the larger as master, and that it is
wise to reinstall your data in any case when adding a major new component.
