you can drag all the icons with an exceo\ption of a few window ones to the taskbar...when it gets full it will create a arrow >> for you to click on to see all the ones that aren't showing.
this will allow you to clear them from the desktop and see your pictures if you have any set up for your desktop. I have placed certain icons that I use all the time to be visible in the task bar. that way when I have othjer things opened andI need to use one of them they are sitting there visible to me without having to close out a window. an example of that would be my shortcut to dos. if I have a word file opened I can immediately access dos by clicking the icon..

You cannot do this.  However you can create different folders (ie.
"Internet Stuff" "Writing Tools") and this will make it easier for you
to find what you need.
