Hello Smitty:
I always used to think that LYNX is like the BOBCAT browser, except that
LYNX runs on OS/2. BOBCAT does allow downloads. Also one can configure
BOBCAT to run an external FTP client. You cannot do that with LYNX?

It is possible to run Arachne on a 286, but it will be S.L.O.W.
I think Opera or Mosaic would be even slower, and probably would
not even run on your machine unless you had at least 8 MB of RAM.
Opera is a Windows browser. Mosaic, except for very antique
versions, is also a Windows browser.
You can get the latest version of Arachne via email if you would just
send an empty email to address [EMAIL PROTECTED] You will
receive UUENCODED Arachne by email. It will be a very large email,
over 1 MB. Some systems refuse to accept email messages this large.
Check with your system administrator first. You will need to get a
program named UUDECODE.EXE in order to decode it.
