I have a mitsubishi MP286L which I just loaded up with Pegasus for
DOS, using DOSPPPD0.5 so that I can connect to POP3 server with PAP.
It works great. Even with the 8250 UART it'll handle 14400 bps.
I'm happy!
One glitch. Can someone help? The thing boots with a 40 character
per line font which wraps around terribly on most programs. If I run
NC or other programs that take control of the screen, it comes to
something more standard - even after I exit NC. Can someone tell me
the command to run to make it start up in this nice smaller mode?
Come to think of it - the same thing happens with an old XT I've
got....I'm probably gonna say, "Oh yea!" after 30 of you tell me the
answer. But I can't find it myself in my books. So I'll place the
dunce cap on my head and wait for replies.
