:-)  I knew I should've added more to that. Yeah, I knew about USB long
before iMac came out and thought it was interesting.
There was a recent article somewhere that mentioned some of what you said
but then noted that the iMac, being all (almost all?) USB finally put to
rest any doubts about USB.
Because of the success of the iMac USB finally went primetime.

BTW, is it safe to assume that USB add-on cards will work with
pre-USB WinTel machines as long as a USB-aware OS is running on it
(Win9x)?
That question is for informational purposes only as I'm pretty much
anti-Win9x.
