I owned a Victor 2000 double floppy machine. Amber screen,
basic menu only, it had a PIM (!) and a calculator program
which still worked. Using any kind off GUI on it is a waste.
It's more a conversation piece than a usable unit due to
the lack of hard drive.

Mine booted from both CP/M and DOS 1.0 floppies. Do you
possess a boot floppy?
