There's a well known computer magazine in Israel, named "Wiz".
Its running for 10 years now. It is known to be aimed mostly at
games, and somewhat prefer "the newest and best computers" and
anything with the word "MS" on it. (though they did bash Windows 98
and IE5 once.).
Here's the reason for this letter: every now and then I buy it,
and in this issue the had a small text-box about Linus Torvalds,
naming him their choice for being the man of the year. What was
so horrible/plain funny, was that their description of him, and
linux, was off the mark! I quote it here. Warning: you'll either
laugh your head off, or just wish you could go to their office
with a sledge hammer.
"This thing even big millioners cant buy, because Linux Torvalds
is our man of the year by tech achievments. Linus have founded
the Linux company in the 80s, when Minix, UNIX, and C programming
was developed in it. Now in the 90s Linux is producing a line of
hardware which its goal is to meet the specific needs of every
buisness, while this company's technology is the basis for
systems and applications while supporting even modern multi-user
and multi-purpose systems.".

I just love it when newspapers check facts before posting.
