Hallo Bernie!

Well, i would say, use it in the following situations:
a) on very limited machines where file storage space is expensive (like
on palmtop computers with flash cards instead of HDs)
b) when you run out of HD space. It brings quite a lot of space back.
c) when you want to make disassembling your own programs a little more
difficult

Further experiences of mine are:
- One of the best is WWPACK
- Sometimes it will work with programs that contain overlays, sometimes
not
- The decompression process takes no more than 2 seconds for huge
programs on my palmtop machine (6 MHz)
- There is a version of PKLITE that attempts to compress Windows (i
believe 16 bit only) programs, with varying success. Try it, but back up
your EXE file first.
