Hi, Guys,
Last week, I was using Stacker 4.0 running under PC-DOS 7.0 to compress a
540 MB hard drive when power was cut off to the system in mid process. I
was left with half the disk's contents moved into a 186 MB stacvol.dsk file
with no initialization or startup files for Stacker, and no boot/rescue disk
yet made.
If any of you have used Stacker 4.0 or later under MS-DOS 6.0 or later or
PC-DOS 6.1 or later, or maybe even DOS 5.0, I would appreciate it very much
if you could zip up a disk image of your Stacker rescue/boot disk and attach
it to an e-mail message. I'd like to get the data and other material out of
that stacvol.dsk file, which may be possible with a Stacker-aware boot
floppy disk.
This would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance if you can help.
