Many years ago I used As-Easy-As on the Tandy and really liked it.
It had a few features I'm not sure even Lotus 1-2-3 had.

One feature I liked was when using it as a database you didn't have to
settle on the standard column/row layout. An example macro, once run,
provided you with a standard database form making data entry as simple
as a normal database program.

Might have to give this spreadsheet a revisit.
