Yes, AMIGAs were used for graphics, ATARIs for music and Macs for DTP.
Guess that the PC is the dominant in all those areas now except extremly
good graphics where Silicon Graphics rule.
The local TV station here uses an AMIGA for displaying the images when they
don't broadcast something (which is 18 hours a day <g>).
