thanks for writing this. actually that is part of the confusion. the bios
says it sees a 2gig drive, which at first led the person who installed it to
think all was well. however, as i found at the start of this whole ghing,
diskdoctor claims that most of the drive is bad, likely bad sector
translation as it is a new drive. it is a 1992 bios which is not even
supposed to have lba but it does see the drive. i do have dos 6.22 but
would not mind 7 if it will do this beter.
