I happened across a magazine called Maximum DOS from
the editors of DOS Resources Guide, dated June 1994.

It's dedicated to tips, tricks and fixes for DOS-only use
and its clear defining explanations have taught me
more about stacks, buffers, Extended, Expanded memory,
Autoexec.bat and config.sys structuring than even the
"DOS Beyond 640 K" book had.

Sorry to say, I don't know where else to find these
magazines, but this one is worth thrice its weight
in gold.
