Hello all,

I bought two matching HP Vectra 486's months ago in order to link them
together to make a linux box capable of running Xwindows. I've been
playing with one, to which I added memory and a cdrom, for months now, and
hadn't booted up the other until Saturday when I took on the project of
linking them together.

When I boot up the "beefed up" box, I get a bios screen where that shows
all the system checks, etc. At the top, a line says something like, "HP
Vectra M2 486DX2 66MHz."

When I boot up the other machine, I get the same screen, except it says
at the top, "Time to make the doughnuts!"

Why? Did someone change this line? How? Can I do it? Did this machine
belong to Dunkin' Donuts; did they make this change at the factory? Was
this computer the missing machine in a great doughnut sweepstakes prize
giveaway? Should I take it on antiques roadshow?

Thanks to he who posted the instructions for linking them together and
exporting apps from one machine to the other (I've lost the original
posts). Could he that posted it please email me? I've got some questions
about problems that he said in the post he could answer.

Thanks!

Jason Stotter
