Uhrrr...  Not quite.  DESQview/X was a version of DESQview which supported
the X/Window protocol - it had a server and various clients IIRC.  It still
ran on DOS, but could display apps running on another machine via X (e.g.
from Unices) and could be displayed on any other X server.
