Good ol' WinZip in newer versions can do .tar.gz files. It'll want to
decompress it first (.gz is gzip format), then extract it from the archive
(.tar format) but it works quite well. I'm using version 7 of WinZip here.
Just watch out for extraneous files being left around if you're not careful!
