Hey Dale; there Is a digest verion of arachne... send to
[EMAIL PROTECTED], blank subject and "subscribe arachne-digest" (
without the quotes) as the message
I've heard ALOT re: Pegasus... mostly that it is a Large program...
almost all of My e-mail I compose "online" in PINE on my ISP's Unix
machines... I Do have A TON of saved to zip disk PINE sent-mails and I
have often thought pegasus might be good for speedier access to them...
right now, I must upload an entire(1 month) sent-mail PINE mailbox in
order to access a given message(s)
I'm going to stick to my perhaps primitive system configuration... as I've
stated, right now I am attempting to master actually downloading a mp3
file... I see my topo as having two files: my Arachne 1.66 system and my
copy of Win3.1
I now boot to the DOS prompt and when I want to surf or offline e-mail I
cd to Arachne and if I need to word-process or maybe netscape I cd to
\WINDOWS and launch windows 'manually'
I am a little nervous about trying pegasus sort of afraid of inviting
problems to my simple 'world'... but we'll see...
