Hello Folks:
One of our favorite local radio station announcers at WAZR FM, of
Woodstock, Virginia, likes to keep his listeners up to date by keeping
us informed of the latest technical terms.
A few minutes ago he told us about "percussive maintenance", which he
defined as "the art of whacking the heck out of an electronic device to
insure that it continues to operate properly."
I know a lot of us are quite adept at this art, but up until just now
we didn't know there was a name for it.
