   Well, I have a '486, 133 MHz, 32 Mb RAM, Coprocessor installed, SB16,
running MS-DOS 6.20 and Win 3.1.

   And I can play MP3s in both OS, using (DOS) Dosamp, DAMP, QuickView,
FreeCDP Player (thanks Florian), and MPX (the best performer), and for
Win 3.1 I can use WinPlay3 (it works, thanks for the tip Or) but only if
I adjust the settings to less than best output.

   OK, for all of these, I am using the CPU close to max, but they ALL
play MP3s.       :)

  What have I got that you haven't ?      (so to speak).
