Note tab pro or note tab lite, www.notetab.com is pretty wonderful. Light,
strong, many features, and it can both strip or convert to html. I use it
for most of my html needs. It also handles multiple open documents and
large documents, unlike notepad.
As I use pro I cannot say for sure whether lite has the html stripping but
I think it does.
