OK! I'm no longer able to keep quiet. I was tempted to dive in before, but
others did so. On this below I can't keep quiet.
First, I must say, that the neurological differences between men and
women are pretty minor. Your example below is ALL CULTURE, not physiology!
I'll tell you that NO ONE OWNS ME! or ever will. My father certainly does
not own my mother. He loves her, as a person not as an object. If I heard
a man refer to "owning" me, that would be it, I'd be GONE. And I know many
of my fellow women feel the same way. In western culture at least, once upon
a time, we used to have women as property, and we used to have slavery. Both
were equally wrong. We are people. Most coupel I know either think of
themsleves as "partners" or as "two become one" or as BOTH owning each other.
MOST of the things you see as differences in men and women are cultural.
babies are treated differently from the beginning, in choice of toys, color
of clothing, and interaction. Sociological studies show that parents and
educators automatically play rougher with boys than girls, and treat girls
more delicately, even though boy babies are more likely to die in infancy,
and men have lower pain thresholds! Girls are taught to stay near the home,
boys are encouraged to be indpendant and explore. It is the assumptions
that adults have that put these qualities into children. Psychologist also
say that the happiest most well rounded people are those who are mentally
androgynous.
You also don't know how many women think either, if you've never heard a
woman look at "her man" possessively. This is not a trait mother nature
imprinted on men or women, but it is a thing that some particular people have
and some don't - both men and women.
Sex is what mother nature gave us, meaning biological reproductive
differences. Gender is what society puts in us, and is where all those things
that women are "supposed to" do and feel come from. Gender and sex are
separate things. Gender is all learned.
You assume too much. When you assume that just because you were taught
people should be a certain way, that it is from nature or biology.

>Man when stay with his woman think: "This woman is mine"
