Hmm, it's astonishing, because I read a message on this list that
someone downloaded this program from the MS site.
Until now my provider always offered its software both for Win3.x and
Win9.x, which included both IE and NS, but recently they published a new
version - for Win9.x only.

An older version won't do, I'm afraid. They didn't support Java and
even the Javascript implementation was buggy. I do hope these are
improved now.

This seems to be a good idea, I think I'll try it.

So did I, but I read that this version is somewhat less bloated and therefore
faster and works best with Java and JS. That's why I thought it would
be worth to give it a try. (Nowadays I have to surf a lot and lots of
sites are polluted with this Java and JS junk.)
