Yup. I use the Crynwn SLIP packetdriver on my XT portable
to connect to my Linux TCP/IP network. It works fine.

Well, SLIP is pretty slow anyway, so I don't think CPU
speed is going to be an issue. Actually, I wanted to
try PLIP on that machine, but its parallel port is
mono-directional.
