Yeah I need a program that will run without installing (so we can
watch movies off CDs on WNT at uni....)

AFAICT it won't play "DivX ;-)" movies. (I have 2.55)

When I had the K6-2 400 it would depend on the quality of the
movie. Something full quality off a DVD takes a lot more
processing power than say off a VCD. eg Rowan Atkinson could do
it at 4, but the Matrix struggled at 0.

And it might be best if the movie is encoded with DivX sound
(instead of MPEG1 layer 3 aka MP3)

Get a Thunderbird: copper interconnects whereas Duron still uses
Aluminium. :-) Too bad they're quite a bit more expensive...

I was actually being sarcastic. I was in a shop looking at the
"features" of Windows ME and this was listed on the box! Things
that one could create themselves. "New colour schemes!" "Share
your files easily!"
