Hello Everyone,
I found a USR 33.6 modem at Goodwill the other day, for $1.99 :-)
Unfortunately, it doesn't have the power supply anymore. It is model
0459, and says Sportster 33.6 Faxmodem. I haven't looked at the USR web
site yet, but I am not sure if the info I need will be readily available
anyway.
I need to know what voltage this modem requires. I have several other
external modems and they vary in voltage requirements. I find 8.5 for
my Hayes Smartmodem, 9 for my Hayes Accura, 9 for my Supra, and a
whopping 20 volts for my broken USR Courier.
Anybody know? :-)
As an un-solicited side note, I think the milk I am drinking is starting
to spoil!
