Hello all, and "a happy new millenium" -!

I have a Tandy 3000HD which WAS bootable from the hard disk...
I then optimized (defragged) the HD using Norton Utilities, and
now for some reason it won't boot from C: anymore, and further
does not even recognize C: as a valid drive! If I clumsily try
using a Sperry Utility Diskette, I can get it to "see" the C:
drive (but not the D: partition), but I still have to run from a
DOS boot diskette to (at least) access the HD. But I often get
"incorrect DOS version" complaints with any DOS boot disk I've
tried to use.

I need the SETUP utility on the original Tandy DOS 3.2 diskette,
also the FDISK, COPY, MLPART and MLFORMAT (my problem is in part
not having the exact same DOS version as is on the HD). Also there
was a "Supplemental Programs Diskette" which contained the special
utility HSECT, and a version of FORMAT [C:/S/V]... but for sure
I'd need the HSECT program.

Can anyone help? The battery must be going also, so I'll get
the cover off to replace that, and have a look around. It has 640k
RAM, and a single 5.25" high density floppy as well...

TIA, -Pete
